Hey, I’ve been looking at this website lately, and it’s really opened my eyes. It’s made me realize how important it is to pay attention when I vote. I feel like I need to ask more questions and actually meet these people before I decide. Also, why aren’t background checks done before we even have a chance to elect these guys? It’s kind of a big deal!

My vote should absolutely count more than four men. (Edit: I just mean voters should pick who represents us not just four men.) I won’t vote for these guys again. One man hid his serious and corrupt past which just shows he’s still corrupt. One man was on probation when elected and didn’t tell us. (Note from us: he was appointed while on probation as well.) The new one who was appointed shows exactly who the four are. They endorsed his bigotry and low moral character. Shameful, they don’t represent me or my city. I pray they do the right thing and resign. I’m getting too old to protest but I will if I have to.
May God have mercy on them.

It’s been explained the charter says council can appoint and doesn’t give guidelines. But how do we change it if the corrupt guys are still on the council? Do voters need to sue? There must be some way to get justice before their terms are up. That is a long time for this city to have to deal with their deviousness.
