EVERYONE DESERVES GRACE WHEN THEY ADMIT TO THIER SHORTCOMINGS OR HISTORY. MR. METCALF HAS NOT ADMITTED TO HIS FAILINGS. HIDDING THIS KNOWLEDGE FROM VOTERS SHOWS POOR JUDGMENT; METALF SIDED WITH THE PROUD BOYS POSITION TO DO AWAY WITH THE DEIC AGAINST THE WILL OF THE RESIDENTS. HE CITED HIS VALUES ALIGNED WITH BLEVENS. IT IS OUR POSITION COUNCILOR JONATHAN ALEXANDER METCALF SHOULD RESIGN IMMEDIATELY.
Metcalf said, “I believe he (Blevens) represents the values under the ticket under which we ran. Quite frankly as it was mentioned it’s not a runoff and this is the direction we’re going. I believe that you (looking at Blevens) represent the values of this community and what they spoke for… please make us all proud and do as well as I know you will.”

The following is new financial issues facing Mr. Metcalf. While situations arise it is disturbing a number of council members believe they can make financial decisions for the city but not maintain them personally.
Metcalf’s closing statements @1:17:19
“First, thanks everybody for coming tonight. I love seeing the seats filled, even if it’s not necessarily in a positive manner. Even if you’re not hearing what you want to hear, I respect the comments made earlier tonight. I want to start with that.
You made a comment about me referencing leadership and that you don’t elect a leader; you elect a representative. You’re correct, you do. I think that’s a great reminder for all of us, so thank you for pointing that out and reminding us. Also, I ran under the same ticket as Mr. Dolezal and Mr. Crossett. Unfortunately, Mr. Crossett didn’t make it. He was elected, but he wasn’t able to fulfill his term due to that accident, which is absolutely tragic.
That being said, I have to agree with Mr. Dolezal that, out of respect, I share my opinion with the community. My decision tonight for Mr. Blevens is based upon the fact that I believe he represents the values under the ticket under which we ran. Quite frankly, it was mentioned that it’s not a runoff, and this is the direction we’re going.
I believe that he represents the values of this community, and what they spoke for through their election. (YET ONLY ONE SHOWED UP @4:49 AND ALL SHE SAID IS SHE BELIEVED COUNCIL SHOULD ELECT SOMEONE WHO MATCHED CROSSETT’S VALUES. EVEN THE MAYOR AGREED THEY ALL MATCHED HIS VALUES @48:50. NO PETITIONS FOR BLEVENS, HE WAS THE LEAST QUALIFIED, NO DEBATE, NO TRANPARENTCY AND NO DISCUSSION AS TO WHY HE MATCHED BETTER THAN THE OTHERS.) I’m excited to see you continue to work, and I appreciate you stepping up to the call for veterans to get involved and find a different way to serve. I know that was one of my challenges when I first got on this committee or the council, excuse me. So, please make us all proud and do well, as I know you will.”
