McElroy was appointed 8/2022

This is public data collected from Oregon court sources. Visual identification has been requested from authorities. Age, physical description and names match the Councilor. We fully believe these documents match the Councilor.

These court documents and criminal past were withheld from public knowledge before he was appointed or voted into office to oversee city business. It is our opinion the councilor willfully withheld this information from the public.

Currently the Clackamas County Commissioner has been arraigned and resigned on charges similar to McElroy but not as numerous. https://www.opb.org/article/2025/03/07/melissa-fireside-clackamas-county/

WE FULLY BELIEVE THESE RECORDS BELONG TO COUNCILOR MICHAEL WAYNE MCELROY HE MUST RESIGN IMMEDIATELY; ALL OF HIS FINANCIAL DECISIONS WHILE HOLDING ANY POSITION IN THE CITY GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE AUDITED FOR CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.

Councilor McElroy has also recently praised Matthew Blevens and voted to appoint him to a vacant council seat even though the public was totally against it. Blevens has made racist, misogynistic, transphobic and vulgar comments on Twitter. Blevens has put indigenous children and trans children down along with using mental illness as a putdown.

McElroy’s closing statement @1:19:33

I appreciate everyone coming out tonight. I see the recall, uh, posters up—I welcome a recall. I’m up here serving the community because they voted for me to be here. If they recall me and vote me out, I would, uh, be happy to stand down. My thought is that that’s not likely to happen, but, uh, good luck on it.

Fortunately, we’re going to have the opportunity to talk to Mike, because Mike has been battling through his recovery. I won’t get into too many of the details, but it won’t be long before we’ll be able to ask him how he feels about our appointment. And I’ve got a really good feeling that he will strongly agree with, uh, who we appointed.

There were a lot of great candidates. I took the time and read, um, the information about all of them. And I just welcome you guys—there’s another election coming up in another two years. I’d welcome you to get involved in that and, um, get the signatures needed.

I, I hear the argument that someone was on the ballot, but the only difference is that somebody went out and got 25 signatures from the community. If we had required that from the candidates and given them the time to do so, I believe that all, all of the people who applied would have been able to go out and get the 25 signatures. I don’t think the fact that you went out and got those automatically gives you a spot that you lost an election for. So I, I don’t agree with that argument. (NO ONE MADE THIS ARGUMENT. THE ARGUMENT IS THAT 905 VOTING RESIDENTS HAD ALREADY CAST THEIR BALLOTS FOR BELLOMO AND THOSE 905 VOTERS DESERVED TO MATTER OVER THE OPINIONS OF 4 ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES. THEIR SOLE JOB IS TO REPRESENT VOTERS NOT THEIR OWN AGENDA.)

But, but I think that we made a great addition to the council, and I look forward to working with Mr. Bevens. Congratulations. Thank you.
